The Excess Line Association of New York (ELANY) is delighted to announce that Director of Strategic Initiatives, Howard W. Greene, has received a promotion and given the additional title of Director of Government Affairs.

ELANY’s Executive Director, Dan Maher, said, “Howard has done a remarkable job in his first two and a half years at ELANY.  Howard jumped headfirst into numerous projects for ELANY since the day that he arrived, including the rollout of two cybersecurity services ELANY has offered to its members. The addition of the Government Affairs role returns Howard to his greatest area of expertise."

Greene, an industry veteran of more than 30 years, has been with ELANY since May 2017. He came to ELANY from TIAA, where he was vice president of state government relations and associate general counsel. Prior to that, Greene held similar positions with GRE Insurance Group and the Risk and Insurance Management Society in New York.
