Kamran Khaliq HeadshotKamran Khaliq is Senior Vice President of Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) and the Business Insurance Due Diligence Practice Leader of MMA’s Private Equity and M&A Practice. With over a decade of experience in the risk-management field, Kamran has carved a niche in supporting the diverse insurance needs of financial sponsors, strategic investors, transactional advisors, and their investments/portfolio companies in the middle-market space. In addition to his role at MMA, Kamran’s contributions to both the insurance industry and M&A space are evidenced through his long-standing advisory board roles within IBANY, ACG and various entrepreneurial ventures and non-profits. Kamran’s work and efforts have been recognized by various entities and publications - IBANY’s Emerging Leader in 2017, Recipient of the Renee McFadden Scholarship and Insurance Business America’s Young Gun in 2019. Kamran began his career at Wells Fargo, following his graduation from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, where he earned a B.S in Economics and Political Science.

Paul LittlePaul C. Little is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Protecdiv. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance, and risk analytics industries.

Prior to Protecdiv, Paul founded and was President of Maxfield Risk Consulting which specialized in risk management and analytics consulting. Before forming Maxfield, Paul was CEO at Ultimate Risk Solutions, an economic capital software development company. Paul also served as President of EQECAT Inc. a natural hazards software and risk management company (now part of CoreLogic). Prior to joining EQECAT, Paul was EVP, Chief Brokerage Officer and Director at Holborn Corporation, a reinsurance intermediary. Paul began his insurance career at Guy Carpenter LLC, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLellan, ending his tenure there after more than 20 years, as a Managing Director. Paul is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. degree in Economics.

Brandy Carbone joined MarshBerry in 2022 as a Vice President within MarshBerry’s Financial Advisory team. Her current responsibilities include acting as a client-facing lead on merger & acquisition (M&A) and financial consulting projects, developing strategy and implementation of client deliverables, as well as recognizing opportunities for growth that ultimately enhance client satisfaction.

Brandy has over ten years of experience in investment banking, data analytics and business management - plus tenure as an entrepreneur and nonprofit leader.

Prior to joining MarshBerry, Brandy was a Senior Business Analyst & Director of Data Analytics for CM&F Group, Inc. In addition to this role, she was the diligence captain for the firm where she coordinated efforts internally and in conjunction with M&A and integration teams. She has also held roles with Bank of America Securities Corporation and Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc.

Jelani Fenton is the Founder & CEO of Safari, a workforce development technology company that is building a modern solution to address the insurance industry talent shortage. Jelani started his career as a commercial insurance broker in Marsh's leadership development program. He is also the owner of Tribe Insurance Group, a holding company that acquires and operates commercial insurance agencies and brokerages. Among its portfolio includes EG Bowman, the oldest black-woman-founded insurance brokerage in the United States, DH Lloyd, the largest black-owned commercial insurance brokerage in Washington, D.C. and JD Prime Insurance Agency, a New York-based commercial insurance agency.

Jelani subsequently transitioned into roles as an investment banker at Evercore covering insurance companies and as an underwriting manager at Rhino, a venture capital-funded insurance technology company. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
