Fenniman Elected President of Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York
Douglas A. Fenniman, CPCU, ARM of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., has been elected to serve as president of the Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York.
Mr. Fenniman was elected to the Board of Directors in 2014, appointed to the Executive Committee in 2021, and sworn in as president on April 18, 2023.
IBANY Names Travelers Exec Ricky Jones Insurance Person of the Year
NEW YORK, NY – The Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York (IBANY) honored Ricky Jones of Travelers as its Insurance Person of the Year at its annual breakfast on Thursday, March 9, at the Union League Club in New York City. Jones was recognized for his engagement in the New York Metro insurance industry, positive contributions to the advancement of the industry, encouragement and fostering of young adults entering the field, and participation in IBANY’s community and service activities.
IBANY Recognizes 2022 Emerging Leaders
The Insurance Brokers Association of the State of New York (IBANY) recognized seven individuals at its Emerging Leaders Reception on June 28.
The inaugural class of IBANY Emerging Leaders was in 2015, and IBANY is proud to carry the tradition of supporting the newest generation of insurance industry professionals. Many Emerging Leaders bring the same outstanding drive and talent from their companies to their membership with the association. They embrace the association – become more involved and energetic volunteers and ambassadors.
